Ideal CTVM informs that its clients' funds are kept in a registration account used exclusively by the brokerage firm to record each client's transactions, as provided for in § 6, Art. 12 of the CMN Resolution of the Central Bank of Brazil No. 5,008 of March 24, 2022. However, Ideal CTVM informs that these registration accounts are not to be confused with the payment accounts referred to in arts. 6, item IV, and 12 of Law No. 12,865, of October 9, 2013. For this reason, it clarifies that the funds kept in registration accounts do not have a legal regime equivalent to that of the funds kept in a payment account, as provided for in art. 12 of Law No. 12,865 of 2013.
